The decor is very modern and cosy, a huge upgrade from when I first visited years ago. Some good tunes being played as we ate and chatted. Was having lunch with friends, I had avocado and sweet potato tempura hosomaki with a side of miso soup. The tempura had a lovely crunch and was delicious as a hosomaki. Even the nori felt fresh as I bit into them. Friends got beef teriyaki and chicken katsu curry. It smelled lovely and portions looked reasonable! I very rarely go to the city but I enjoy coming here when I can.
best Japanese in Glasgow by far! Excellent food, fantastic value for money and lovely restaurant. 10 lunch deal of a can, a main, 2 gyoza and 2 spring roll is an absolute steal
Bought sushi burritos from the restaurant and it was good. Good portion according to price. The service was quick. They prepared the takeaway within few minutes!
Food was lovely mostly..service was quick staff very pleasant..had katsu deluxe Bento box..also had some sushi with bento box but ate them before I got photo....very nice.....salad wasn't great a few green leaves..
Fabulous! Solid 10/10 Japanese food. Some of the best ramen I have tasted. Great value for money as well. The gyozas are heavenly! The prawn special was so good. Need to go back!!

A nice little snapshot of Japanese and Korean cuisine. The sashimi and sushi is so fresh and delicious. The bento Box is bursting with flavours. Not included in the photo was a sushi set which I would happily come back for every day. Staff were excellent, and prices reasonable.
Gem hidden in Glasgow. Never been more satisfied with Japanese cuisine!! It always cost an arm and a leg to enjoy Sushi to my hearts content. However at Nuku Nuku the sushi and all the other dishes are so affordable I can enjoy without worrying about the bill. I’ve been there 3 times so far and the Volcano sushi, spicy prawn sushi and the salmon Bento is to die for. I will definitely keep going back!
